Author Notes: I could have done so much with this, but I chose to honor the incarnations. -3- I might do it for a few others another time, but for now, this is what you get. I'm actually pretty proud of it. xD
Summary: Death is the only answer.

Prompt: Figment/Fragment
They are nothing but pieces, unnecessary and therefore discarded from their whole. The picture completes itself, as they can only sit by and watch, watch their fruitless attempts to become some semblance of a being, with their own hearts, their own power, their own lives.
But such is not the case. They cannot grow. They cannot spread their wings. There is nothing for them, aside from death, that will allow them to escape this unbearable hold. Every arrow that the priestesses fire, every blow from the dog brothers, every strike from the wolf, they can only watch and wait for the outcome.
Is it possible to be freed when one is nothing but a mere fragment of a greater piece? Should the one who spawned them die, would they be able to seek solace in knowing that they are no longer puppets?
It's a foolish wish, a dream that none of them will see through as, one by one, they are smashed apart by betrayal, enemies and their own desires. The only rest that a fragment can have is in the peace that comes with death.
