Title: Arrogance
Fandom: Blood+
Characters/Pairings: Karman/Moses
Word Count: 142
Rating: PG
Warnings: None
Author Notes: Ha, the first time Moses, Karman and Irene speak, I think. I can't remember if it's Irene or Moses who says it, but whatevs. -3- I'm not publishing anywhere, so it doesn't really matter.
Summary: His arrogance is the very reason he ignores him.
Disclaimer: Blood Plus is Gay is an uber awesome community and that's where I found the icon.
“Saya is right there! What are we waiting around here for?”
“That Chevalier is with her.” Karman constantly questions him. He can’t seem to find trust in him as the others have and he respects that, but it does cause some annoying exchanges that he doesn’t care to get into. “Let’s retreat.”
He can see the fire burning. Karman thinks he’d be a better leader, but he… he is the one who must carry the burden of being leader because he’s the one that convinced them to leave their home and venture into this world full of uncertainties and emptiness. If all of them listened to Karman, they’d dive head first into death and despair. His tactics are what will allow them to succeed. It is for Karman’s protection that he ignores his arrogant behavior.
