Title: Silence is Lead
Fandom: Blood+
Characters/Pairings: Karman/Moses; Lulu, Guldrif, Darth, CorpseCorp
Word Count: 233
Rating: PG
Warnings: Schiff vs. CorpseCorp
Author Notes: You see them fighting them and then Lulu brings back Saya and Haji, so I thought that, in between that time, there was some Karman and Moses sweetness, cause they're helping each other down the stairs when Lulu, Saya and Haji arrive.
Summary: There are many different types of silence, but this one tears at his 'heart'.
Disclaimer: Blood Plus is Gay is an uber awesome community and that's where I found the icon.
Silence has fallen. These ‘CorpseCorp’ have left them to die alone in this hellhole. There is no Chevalier boasting, no sounds of screams from the lower floor or even Darth and Guldrif arguing about something simple.
Moses is motionless. Not even a twitch from his hand or a shuddering breath to tell him that he’s all right.
He reaches out, fear and anger gripping him. No one can treat them this way! They aren’t disposable! They’re better than those miserable copies! “Moses…?”
Moses is still. It’s almost as if the silence is suffocating him and a sudden bout of panic races through, allows him, in spite of his own extensive, unhealed injuries, to crawl quickly over to him and press his hands to the still bleeding wounds in both sides of his chest. “Moses!”
“Keep quiet, Karman…” He reprimands quietly, weakly and Karman scowls. Those bastards… “Guldrif… and Darth? Lulu…!”
“Shut up and rest...”
Moses falls silent again, reaching up to pluck the broken glasses from Karman’s face. “I will not die so easily. You have no need to look so worried…”
Karman bristles, trying his best to maintain his glower, but knows that Moses can read him better than that. He doesn’t need to say anything, allowing his body to fall beside his leader as a gesture of comfort. He doesn’t like… this solemn silence.
